Why is it that some of us don’t follow God? Why don’t we get into the Jordan? We don’t believe God. The reason some people don’t tithe is that they don’t really believe God. Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.Now, if a person believed that verse, would he tithe? Sure, who wouldn’t want God to open the windows of Heaven and pour out a blessing so great he couldn’t even receive it? Do you know why we never get into Jordan or whatever it may be that God commands us to do? It’s because we really don’t trust God. And you know why we don’t trust God? Because we don’t know God. You can’t trust someone you don’t know. What is difficult for you when it comes to trusting God? In what ways would you say you know God well? In what ways would you say you don’t know God well?
